The Collection !
Kamikaze bunnies was born because I wanted to boost my son's self-esteem.
One day, when he was 5 years old, I picked him up from the daycare and went to see the drawings he had made that day.
His teacher told me, " Zackery didn't listen to the instruction; that's why his drawing is so ugly" I was F**ing pissed off.
I took a picture of his artwork because I actually really like it and left.
Right around that time, I was looking to start a new business and that very same day bout my son some shoes. After I bought the shoes, something just clicked in my head.
What if I put his art on shoes? It would make him feel like a million buck and would shut his teacher up.
Long story short .... a few months later, my son and I showed up to his school with shoes and a bag made from his art and at the end of the years, I pulled him out of that school.
It felt amazing to see the look on her face. At that point, I knew kids art was meant to go on shoes, travel bags and much more.
Those who know me know I'm a happy person ( I guess you can tell by my photo:)) I'm a kid at heart.
I own a pastry shop and just love to make people smile.
When I saw the "Pink Ink" bag, It just made me smile & when I found out it was designed by a 3 years old, I had to buy it.
I think it's very important to encourage the next generation.
The best thing about this bag is that everywhere I go, I get a ton of compliments & I have an amazing story to go with the bag
I travel a lot for business, and I d'ont get to see my grand kids as much as I would like.
Ms. Davis, my grand-son Pre-K teacher, texted my son a few weeks back with a link to The "design by kids" Luggage cover . My son made a Luggage cover for me with a picture Jason ( my grand-son ) drew of me. He also made an other luggage cover with art from my grand-daughter.
I loved the gift !
While I can't be with my grand kids as much as I would want, at least I get to think about them every time I pick my suitcase up at the airport.
I'm a New York base artist and can't Imagine my life without art.
My best friend Showed me his shoes designed by his son and I totally flipped. They were the coolest kicks i ever seen .
So I asked my nephew to draw a pair for me and he did.
They look amazing and are supper comfy. I'm really proud of him and I think I'm going to turn this into a yearly tradition.
